Accountant Manager
Manager will serve directly under the Principal supporting the Accounting and Consulting Services Division. Responsibilities will include management and oversight of several engagements simultaneously and supervising up to (5) staff members. Looking for a seasoned CPA with at least 10 years of accounting experience of which at least (3) are in public accounting. Possessing technical competence to offer management advisory services to for profit and not-for-profit businesses and organizations is a strong quality needed.
Summary of essential job functions
Must have the ability to produce quality results in a timely fashion with minimum oversight and the ability to analyze and research complex accounting concepts for all assigned engagements. Critical thinking and analysis is significant. Ability to supervise supervisory and staff level employees, some with minimum to adequate experience and supporting their training is essential.
Minimum requirements
CPA designation required with a degree in Accounting and at least (3) years experience in public accounting. A minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Essential Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of internal accounting controls.
- Audit and tax experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software packages such as Creative Solutions, Quickbooks, etc.
Salary Range
$70, 000 - $85,000
